Our 2024 coastal rural community conference on climate change for women brought together 300 coastal residence from some of the largest coastal community in Lagos. The participating communities which are our community impact project were we bring communities together to learn is a high-impact capacity building project that is community-driven, community-led and community-focused.
Our Coastal Women conference is a women-driven low-level conference on climate change developed to increase the active participation of coastal women in ocean conservation challenges and increase ocean literacy education. The conference seeks to enable more women while improving locally-led ocean conservation methods to achieve the ocean decade.
